Time To Get Away – Sisterhood Travel
We have found that, even though we live busy lives, it is imperative that we make time for our friends. We come from a big family so by the time we finish with family functions, we tend to consider that our social time. But once we decided to expand our sister circle to include extended family and friends, we started a sisterhood that continues to grow. We started doing activities together such as yoga, hikes, game night, dinners etc. with an open invitation to whomever could attend and are welcomed to bring a friend. A real sisterhood of support, encouragement began to form, and we couldn’t be happier.
We have such a great time together that we decided to go on a Ladies’ Holiday, a week away to the Dominican Republic (https://www.majestic-resorts.com/en/our-resorts/majestic-colonial-punta-cana). No children, no work, no significant other. Just fun times with fellow sisters, lots of laughs and much needed down time. The goal was to spend the week relaxing, revitalizing and rejuvenating ourselves. And that we did!

We had a blast, the proof is in the pictures, and these are just a few. There were so many highlights of our trip, like the spa day we had and the many live entertainment and beach party that we attended and some of us even participated in! It was sad to have the trip come to an end; however, the sisterhood of friendships only grew stronger, we are now planning another retreat. This time we will be soaking up the sun in Saint Lucia. 2022 here we come…stay tuned!
